Westwood One Going Long On Election Day Coverage

0

It’s being billed as the most important congressional election in decades and radio will be working hard to keep listeners up to date. Westwood One News will be out in full force on Tuesday, November 6, providing affiliates with continuous Election Night coverage from 7 p.m. ET until at least 1 a.m. ET (later if control of Congress is not determined by then), plus four special reports per hour and live reports from the headquarters of key candidates.

Jim Bohannon will host Westwood One News coverage, which will also be simulcast to all The Jim Bohannon Show affiliates as a special edition of his broadcast. He will also interview key newsmakers. Coverage will include White House correspondent Bob Costantini reporting from the White House on the Trump administration’s reaction; Capitol Hill correspondent Linda Kenyon following the races and congressional control; correspondent Steve Kastenbaum in New York, Jim Roope in Los Angeles, and Clayton Neville in Houston on important regional races, turnout, and ballot referenda.
