Vox Media has selected Panoply as a partner for podcast distribution and monetization. Vox will use Panoply’s podcast platform, Megaphone, to host and distribute its entire lineup of podcasts across the Vox Media Podcast Network, including shows from its editorial networks Vox, Recode, The Verge, SB Nation, Polygon, Eater, and Curbed.

Vox Media Podcast Network content spans many categories, from daily news (Vox’s Today, Explained) and policy (The Weeds) to business (Recode Decode and Recode Media), technology (The Vergecast and Function with Anil Dash) and sports (SB Nation) – totaling over 50 shows and millions of monthly downloads. The media company will join other publishers on Megaphone, including HowStuffWorks, Gimlet Media, Slate, and The Wall Street Journal.

“We’re excited to work with Panoply and bring our podcasts onto the Megaphone platform,” said Marty Moe, President of Vox Media. “Megaphone’s technology is the best we’ve seen in the market. Their innovations in ad ops, campaign management, and targeted advertising technology will help us streamline our podcast operations and increase our revenue.”

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Vox Media, one of the most successful and exciting publishers in the podcast space,” said Brendan Monaghan, CEO of Panoply Media. “We’re committed to building innovative tools that help partners like Vox Media grow and succeed.”
