David Abel is the new Vice President/Market Manager of Cox radio stations in San Antonio, which include KISS 99.5, KONO 101.1, KTKX 106.7, KKYX 104.9, KCYY 100.3 and KSMG 105.3. Abel was was honored in 2015 by Radio Ink as one of the “Best Managers in Radio.”
Abel joins the CMG San Antonio team as a 20-year radio veteran, most recently serving as Vice President of Radio with Griffin Communications in Tulsa, OK. Prior to that role he was VP/GM for Apex Broadcasting’s radio group in Charleston/Hilton Head, SC, and also helped Apex launch new digital and IT companies, where he concurrently served as COO.
