Shannon assumes the role at Portland Classic Rock station 92.3 KGON (KGON-FM). He will join Terry Boyd on Terry Boyd’s World, weekdays, 5:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. PT, starting July 8.
Shannon is a radio veteran with over 30 years of experience. Prior to joining Entercom, He served as an editor and anchor for News 92 FM in Houston. He has held various on-air roles for KFNC in Houston, KEGL-FM in Dallas-Fort Worth, and KLOL-FM (now Houston sister station Mega 101 FM), where he was a longtime member of the Stevens & Pruett” show. On KEGL-FM, Shannon was producer and voice of co-host Eddie “The Boner” Sanchez.
