Bill Velez at the Radio Music License Committee wants the radio industry to know that, as RMLC’s antitrust litigation against GMR plods along, GMR has agreed to offer extensions of its interim licenses that are set to expire on September 30. Stations can extend their license through March 31, 2020. Terms will be the same and you can expect to hear directly from GMR before your current license expires.
In the meantime, the RMLC will continue to pursue its litigation against GMR, a process which started in November of 2016.
