Beloved Los Angeles’ radio personality Rita Wilde has signed a new multi-year agreement with the station. Wilde will continue on-air weekdays from 7 p.m. to midnight, and will continue to host the popular Album Side at 11 segment, featuring the uninterrupted play of one full classic rock album side at 11 p.m. Wilde is a Southern California native who began her career at the former KEZY-FM in Anaheim. She joined Los Angeles’ KLOS-FM in 1983. In 2013, Wilde joined The Sound as the evening on-air host.

“Rita relates so well to rock fans because she is one,” said Dave Beasing, Program Director, 100.3 The Sound. “Rita has seen more Bruce and U2 concerts, among others, than anybody I know.”

“Classic Rock fans and artists have been listening to Rita since this music was new,” added Peter Burton, VP/GM Entercom Los Angeles. “We’re proud to have her at The Sound.”

Entercom Los Angeles also recently announced multi-year agreements for iconic rock DJs Cynthia Fox and Joe Benson on 100.3 The Sound.
