That’s what CEO David Field reported Friday on his Q2 earnings call. Overall Entercom revenue was $125 million in the quarter, compared to $121.6 million in 2016. That number includes the new Charlotte stations Entercom picked up from Beasley late last year.

Field said both local and national performed “comparable.” The automotive category was flat. Entercom’s top performing categories for the quarter were professional services, home improvement and cable/entertainment. Entercom’s strongest markets Atlanta, Miami, Indianapolis and Milwaukee. Field pointed out Denver as one of the weakest.

As far as Q3, Field says it is pacing down. He called it “a bit tepid.” Wells Fargo analyst Marci Ryvicker noted that, “almost every quarter ETM ends up beating their pace so either mgmt. is conservative or business is placed a lot later now.
