Entercom Set To Take In $57,750,000

That’s the purchase price for three FM radio stations: one in San Diego (KSOQ-FM), one in Los Angeles (KSWD-FM), and one in Wilkes-Barre (WGGI-FM). Educational Media Foundation will pay Entercom $57.75 million for the three stations when the Entercom/CBS merger closes. It’s the first of what’s expected to be several spin-offs that Entercom makes to stay under the FCC ownership limits in several markets in order to get the CBS deal done.
