And it’s thanks to donations made at the FM99 (WNOR) & 106.9 The Fox (WAFX) 21st Annual Mayflower Marathon Food Drive. The drive took place simultaneously at four locations from 5:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 17 until 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19. All food and monetary donations collected in Virginia Beach and Suffolk go to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. All donations made in Hampton and Williamsburg benefit the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank.

A huge thanks goes out to all for their generous contributions of food, money, and time. The foodbanks are able to provide over a half a million meals with the donations collected during the 21st Annual Mayflower Marathon, so the impact of the event lasts long after the holiday is over.
