iHeartMedia San Antonio recently partnered with local car dealership Toyota of Boerne and Walmart for the seventh annual Turkeys for Troops drive. iHeart employees and volunteers handed out turkeys donated by Walmart to over 7,000 local military personnel and their families just in time for Thanksgiving. In addition, on-air personalities from iHeartMedia San Antonio stations including K97, News Radio 1200 WOAI, Q101.9, and 96.1 NOW broadcasted live from the dealership encouraging military families to come and pick up a turkey.
“We are honored to be a partner of this event each year,” said Brian Gann, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia San Antonio. “Thanksgiving is a great time to support our military families and give our thanks for their service and sacrifices.”
