CMG Atlanta Replaces Joyner, Baisden

Tom Joyner is not expected to retire until the end of 2019, however, CMG Atlanta changed its morning show at KISS 104.1 this week. The “Morning Groove” with Art Terrell and Roy Wood Jr. (pictured) began this week, replacing Joyner who’s been with the station since the 90’s. In addition, Sasha the Diva takes over afternoon drive, replacing Michael Baisden who has been with the station for the last year.

Terrell and Wood were hosting the noon to 3 p.m slot. Terrell has been with KISS for 13 years, working with Wood since 2013. .

VP of Programming Tony Kidd said, “The changes we’re making represent a new day dawning in Atlanta R&B music. This new programming line-up reflects what Atlanta’s African-American listeners want most from their favorite R&B station.”

  1. Now I have to find something else to listen to in the afternoon because I cannot stand Shasta the diva . You are going to lose a lot of listeners.
