iHeartMedia Washington, DC announced Friday that Toby Knapp has been named new co-host for the morning show on 97.1 WASH-FM, “Washington’s Variety of the 80s, 90s and Today,” starting Monday, December 4. The show broadcasts weekdays from 5–10 a.m. Knapp joins WASH-FM from iHeartMedia’s HOT 99.5, “DC’s No. 1 Hit Music Station & Home of The Kane Show,” where he spent 11 years hosting the afternoon drive show and serving as Assistant Program Director. Knapp will join current co-host Chilli Amar.
