99.5 The Wolf (KPLX-FM) raised $230,477 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital during a series of events, November 30 through December 3. The station hosted their annual 99.5 The Wolf’s Hunt for a Cure, Country Cares for St. Jude Kids® Broadcast, November 30 and December 1, raising $215,477 for the hospital. Air staff broadcast live from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. both days from the KPLX studios in Victory Park, Dallas. Trey Morgan, Lisa Taylor, Smokey Rivers and Mark Phillips shared heart-warming, inspiring stories about St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, and the children and families affected by St. Jude. Sunday, December 3, KPLX brought together 10 of today’s biggest country artists for their annual 10 Man Jam acoustic guitar pull at Billy Bob’s Texas. The lineup resulted in two sets of memorable performances by Brandon Lay, Jerrod Niemann, Tyler Farr, Roger Creager, and Kevin Fowler in the first set and Carly Pearce, Midland, Darius Rucker, Gary Allan, and Scotty McCreery in the second. The event also brought out big names including Randy Travis and Bob Kingsley. The raised $15,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
