FCC Commissioner Anna Gomez To Keynote Hispanic Radio Conference

Newly seated FCC Commissioner Anna Gomez will deliver the opening keynote address at the Hispanic Radio Conference.

Commissioner Gomez will also appear on the cover of the June 2024 issue of Radio Ink Magazine (which will be distributed at the conference). During the interview, the commissioner expressed her support for local broadcasting, diversity in station ownership, and multicultural programming.

2024 Medallas de Cortez Nominations Are Open

The nominations for the Medallas de Cortez are now open! The highly coveted awards will be presented at the 15th annual Hispanic Radio Conference, June 12-13 in San Antonio, home of the first Spanish-language radio station, KCOR.

The awards are named in honor of Raoul Cortez, who founded KCOR/San Antonio in 1946. Nominations are now open to anyone involved in the success of Hispanic broadcasting.
